Our story
Every parent knows the struggle—screen time battles, endless negotiations, and the fear that a phone and online media might do more harm than good. We’ve been there.
Javier saw it firsthand, designing Europe’s first Android phone, when he was a teenager himself. Betty, a single mom and education expert, took a mid-career turn. She researched in Columbia how rites of passage have long helped kids navigate big transitions—and reimagined them under modern lenses. Memo, also a dad, could tell from his years working in Silicon Valley how engagement tactics pulled kids in while parents were left struggling.
Serendipity brought us together. We built Pandora’s Way to reimagine the transition to digital adolescence as a rite of passage. Kids earn access by proving they’re ready. Parents get a custom roadmap and tactical tools to transform frustration into growth and awe.
From our early results, we're convinced we're onto something big.
Screens enchant us like magic. And only with magic do we stand a chance.
